About Splynter
Splynter was founded by Michael Boeynaems together with two partners in 2020. Splynter is a young start-up in the domain of cybersecurity. Its mission is to bring order to the fragmented cybersecurity landscape by helping companies to structurally improve their cybersecurity. Our HQ is located in a brand new office, a lovely renovated mansion in Kontich.
Splynter's mission
Splynter's mission is to raise the level of cybersecurity in organizations without making the organization dependent on external parties.
We believe that the foundations of a (cyber) secure organization should be technology independent. Products should be able to be exchanged without impact on cybersecurity. It must be possible to use new technologies and tools without impacting cybersecurity. The embedding of the right processes and the right architectural choices can achieve this.
We believe more in people than in products. We believe more in a few champions than in whole crowds. We believe more in self-management than in control. We believe in solving problems without creating them.
